Summer offers a time to be refreshed, to be filled up, to sit in one or two scriptures and see something new. In the summer we encourage time with children and with extended family. Making new friends by the pool side or while sitting in the stands at all those ball games is a priority.
For our Cathedral community, summer can also be a time for more concentrated times of spiritual growth and renewal.
A video has been prepared to share with the leadership of Water Missions International. The program Cathedral children piloted has been proposed for use across area churches.
This Spring parents and children are invited to “dig a little deeper” in the Bible. New topic options will be presented on Sunday, April 11th at 10:30. The six week Spring session begins April 17th and will run through the end of May. Join us on the second floor Mezzanine for learning and fun with friends.
Have a topic of interest you want to study with your children, tell us about it:

For general information regarding ministry to families and children,
St. Paul’s words are most appropriate in regards to this when he writes, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” That’s the goal we’re after in the discipline of Reading and Meditating on God’s holy Word. And since we have entered into Holy Week during which some of our parishes have a service every day and when each day brings us ever deeper into Christ’s redeeming work, it is the most appropriate time for me to take up these two disciplines.
