As you face the Church from the street, you’ll see through the gates a grassy lawn area, safely secured by our brick walls. Known as the Cathedral Close, this is multi-functional area.

On most Sunday mornings you’ll see adults chatting in the shade of the oaks, and children climbing it’s trees.  The Close serves as a site for everything from Lawn games and Receptions to Bluegrass & Barbeque.

It serves as the site for the annual “Maine Event” held each April.
