Sacraments Class begins April 29th

Communion-Wafers1“What is a Sacrament?  What is Baptism?  What is Holy Communion?”

These are all questions we will seek to answer, in creative and engaging ways, in our three week Sacraments Class, beginning on Tuesday, April 29th, and then for the next two Tuesday afternoons (May 6th & 13th).

This three week program for elementary age children who can read (approx. ages 6-11) is a great introduction to the sacraments of baptism and communion. It will be lead by our own Rev. Jonathan Bennett and Elizabeth Vice, and will meet from 4pm to 5.30pm, however, the first half hour is a ‘soft’ start in case you can’t make it until 4.30pm. We will do some creative activities from 4.00-4.30pm that will be fun, but not essential.

The class can also be a good way to prepare a child to receive communion for the first time, and even if a child has completed this class before, they are welcome to do it again, as no two classes are exactly the same.

We ask that a parent, grandparent, or godparent, please attend and participate, with each child in the program.

Please contact Jonathan Bennett for more details, or to sign up –, or 843-722-7345.
