Summer 2010: A Beth Moore Study

Esther:  It’s Tough Being a Woman

Weekly on Mondays 6:00-8:00 PM

Wellbrock Hall, beginning June 7th

Esther ~ View Video Preview

“Join Beth in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today…. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.” (Lifeway)

Contact the study leader Betty Schaffer (762-0127 or betty.schaffer@comcast.net) if you would like to participate in this study

Girls’ Get Togethers ~ Y’all Come

Monthly on 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings

7:00-9:00 PM beginning June 2nd

The Tuesday A.M. Ladies Bible Study will not meet in the summer but instead will host girl’s get together events.  Each get-together will have a different hostess who will determine the location and topic of the evening.  (details will be posted in advance on the Cathedral blog on this site)   Each gathering will have food, encouraging conversation, Bible centered discussion (topic will be hostess choice) and plenty of time for prayer.   These evenings are intentionally designed to foster Christianity with true friendships among women of all ages.

“This gathering is our solution to having our children home for the summer and having lots of “working women” friends we’d like to have the chance to know better.”  G. Bergstrom
