Cathedral Students
Community and Discipleship for Middle and High School Students
We believe discipleship most often begins in the home, with parents and the local church as aligned allies for the sake of the Gospel. Cathedral Student ministries create spaces where students can be known, loved, and practice mature faith in Jesus as they grow in independence and responsibility. This happens primarily through weekly Sunday night groups where students practice Sabbath together. Special events and seasonal retreats are other opportunities for our team to come alongside students as they grow into a mature, vibrant faith in Jesus.
Sunday Night Groups
Middle and High School students gather weekly on Sundays from 5–7 pm in the Parish Hall for community, teaching, worship, prayer, and fun.
Grades 6-8th
Middle School Group
After hang time and a shared meal, middle school students gather in the Blue Room with adult leaders for engaging Bible teaching, student-led liturgy, separate ladies and gents small group time, and prayer.
Grades 9-12th
High School Group
After hang time and a shared meal, high school students gather in the Parish Hall with adult leaders for engaging Bible teaching, student-led liturgy, separate ladies and gents small group time, and prayer.
Fall and Spring Retreats
Time away catalyzes growth.
Retreats are life-changing weekends of fun, worship, and community. In the fall, students head off to their own middle and high school retreats with their volunteer leaders. In the spring, students go together to a combined retreat.
Special Events
Kingdom collaboration with local churches.
Events, like Students United, are a space to gather with other local churches for Kingdom collaboration. They are a great way for students to invite their friends and experience genuine fun, sincere worship, and engaging Bible teaching.

Confirmation
When students affirm their faith in Christ.
Confirmation is a sacramental milestone for young believers to publicly affirm their faith in Christ. To prepare students to make a mature public profession of faith, we host a Confirmation course where students can present their big questions and begin to let the Gospel story take root in their hearts. It includes a four-week course on Sunday mornings, mentor meetings, and preparing their testimony. Together with our Canon for Student Ministry, students will learn about the Gospel, the Trinity, Scripture, Prayer, and the Sacraments through the Anglican Catechism.
