Christ calls us to seek the flourishing of our city. So the Cathedral seeks to pursue justice, mercy, and grace within the city of Charleston. To that end we have joined with local ministries in partnership of the gospel for the common good.
Started by the Cathedral, Bridge Church is a collaborative ministry of Charleston area churches to love our neighbors by taking church outside of our walls. Bridge Church meets every Saturday from 5-6pm under the Huger St. overpass of I-26, and consists of a shared meal, singing worship, and a short preaching of Scripture. Please contact Patrick Schlabs if you wish to be a part of this ministry.
A ministry of the Presbyterian Church of America, Reformed University Fellowship is focused on the fusion of intentional discipleship and theological depth. Contact College of Charleston staff Danny Clark.
Next Steps is a mentoring program intended to serve and empower those caught in the cycle of poverty. Volunteer mentors guide, assist, and walk along those who desire to leave behind the deleterious effects of economic and spiritual impoverishment. For more information visit their website.
Young Life is a high school evangelistic ministry focused on sharing the Gospel with the unchurched in high schools around the nation. Contact Charleston Area Director Neil Gardner.
